        What users don’t love is that the dashboard can be a little slow. The service also has limited storage and only provides one sign-up form per account. Auto-responder abilities are also limited.

        For those who are unsure, Constant Contact offers a 60-day free trial, so you can explore features before purchasing. Users report that customer service is good, but that getting help during the weekend is more difficult than on weekdays.

              Campaigner: The Best Email Templates

              Campaigner is well-loved for its selection of diverse email templates, with over 500 customizable options to choose from. Another highlight for the platform is that it offers 10MB of free image-hosting space. Campaigner is also rare in that it provides users with 24/7 phone support, a benefit hard to come by with other email marketing services. The platform conveniently integrates with LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, and allows you to import contacts from third-parties like Outlook and Hotmail as well. It also offers real-time reporting on campaign effectiveness so you can tweak as needed for maximum performance.

              Google Analytics isn’t fully integrated unfortunately, and there’s no Android app for the service — two things users aren’t fond of. Spam checking is also limited, which can be problematic. Campaigner also requires a credit card on file if you want a free 30-day trial.

              The service does integrate with QuickBooks, though, and allows users to conveniently copy and paste text from Microsoft Word.

                    GetResponse’s customer service is award-winning. The platform was given the Bronze Stevie Award in 2013 for its service quality, a plus that means a lot when you’re in need of help quickly. GetResponse gives users a free 30-day trial, has an easy-to-use interface, and offers a drag-and-drop page editor. Users also enjoy over 1,000 stock images they can use, as well as the ability to track statistics and purchasing behavior in regard to subscribers. One thing that sets GetResponse apart is the large font sizes and white space offered in templates, which makes reading easier for many subscribers.

                    Cons to the service include no refunds on annual plans and the fact that landing pages aren’t free. It’s also reported that GetResponse lacks customization capabilities and that the image editor can experience issues occasionally.
